The Beautiful People

"The thing people forget, I think, about the enlightenment process is how beautiful it is, how incredibly beautiful it is. We're made up of light, it's our substance. . .If you're interested in becoming more conscious, more aware, more beautiful, essentially . . .then there are a series of ways to accomplish that."

-Rama

Something is happening in L.A. Tinsel Town Meditation is advertising meditations for the beautiful people! I have noticed that many of Rama's students laugh, and have wonderful senses of humor.

Rama was an incredibly funny guy. I remember very intense evenings when a person could almost hear the air crackling with kundalini energy. I remember bursts of group laughter generated by Rama's humor. Oh my God, he was funny!

The humor was more than just funny; it helped release some of that intense energy. We were supercharged, and laughter helped us all relax and assimilate the energy and awareness.

As I followed the lines of humor regarding the beautiful people and their Tinsel Town meditations a memory was tapped.

I remembered the beauty of the meditation center that was known as Lakshmi. The experience of a center meeting was truly beautiful-the people, the love, the light! The world sparkled after those meetings, and so did those beings who sat in that light!!

I remember looking around at the smiling faces and shiny beings who left after 4, 5 or 6 hours of meditation. You know, they were beautiful, really, all humor aside.

I know that the students in L.A. were just having fun with words, and pulling in lines of humor.

But I think that there is something here to remember. I can't say it any better than Rama did. "The thing people forget, I think, about the enlightenment process is how beautiful it is, how incredibly beautiful it is. We're made up of light, it's our substance."

From Rama's Teachings

Rama presented thousands of techniques that were intended to help students along their own pathway to enlightenment. Techniques presented here may be useful for you. The teachings are meant to be used by students who are serious about their practice, and their own enlightenment.

A special thanks to
