In this practice we care about our energy levels because there is a relationship between our states of mind, our awareness, and our kundalini energy. There are countless techniques that will help you build and maintain your energy levels.

When you take the time to help another person on their journey to light, and you do so without some agenda from ego, you will notice an increase in your energy levels.

There seems to be a natural, infinite source of energy that is available. When I take the time to write I am aware of the energy increase. Some of my writing is related to the journey into enlightened awareness and may inspire someone. I feel more energy when I am writing about the process of self-discovery.

Don't run out and find some poor unsuspecting soul to inspire. Life will present you with many opportunities to help. Don't get too caught up in topics. Topics don't have to be "lofty" or focused on enlightenment. A fellow worker can walk up to you and just be stressed to the max. You can give that person your time and attention, and quietly ask eternity to lend a hand. You may even find yourself giving that fellow worker a simple technique, a breathing technique, a focusing technique.

When your intent is pure, and you pull energy from the infinite, the energy will just come through you very naturally. Words of inspiration may come out of nowhere - or somewhere.

So for fun, keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to assist others on their journey. Of course, the more you practice your own meditation and mindfulness, the more you will have to offer.

When you help someone else on their journey there is a by product. You gain energy.
